Cylinder area
A cylindrical surface is a surface formed by a line that maintains the same direction and intersects the guiding line. A cylinder — is circular if there is a circle at its base.
The lateral surface area of the cylinder is very simple in practice if you look at its development.
The lateral surface of the cylinder, as clearly seen from the drawing, is a rectangle whose dimensions are the circumference at the base and the height of the cylinder. Sl.s.=Lh=2πrh
To find the total surface area, you need to add the two bases, which are circles in the cylinder:
St.a.=Sl.s.+Sbase.=2πrh+2πr2=2πr(h+r)
