    Right Triangle Area

    A right triangle is a triangle that has one right angle(equal to 90 degrees).
    Or a rectangle with a diagonal drawn, which divides it into two right triangles. Therefore, dividing the area of the rectangle by 2 will yield the area of the right triangle.
    The side opposite the 90-degree angle is called the hypotenuse. The other two sides are called the legs.
