Polygon
The online calculator calculates the number of sides, the size of each external angle, and the size of each internal angle of a regular polygon. Knowing one of these parameters, you can find out the others. The sum of all angles in an equilateral polygon with n sides is equal to (n - 2)180.
In all regular polygons, all angle measures are equal to each other. If you multiply the measure of one angle by their number, you get the sum of all angles of the polygon, applicable to all its representatives, not only equilateral ones.
To calculate the measure of one angle in a regular polygon, it is necessary to draw lines from the center of the figure connecting it with all the polygon's angles. These lines will represent the radius of the circle described around the figure, collectively forming a degree measure of the circle at 360°. Accordingly, each angle formed by the radii will be equal to γ=360°/n , where n – this is the number of angles formed by the radii, or as seen in drawings, it is also the number of sides or angles in a specific polygon.
