Measure* the thickness of the skinfold** in the middle (men) or in 2/3 (women) from the nipple, in the gap between the nipple and the armpit crease. The direction of the skinfold should follow the imaginary line between the nipple and the armpit. |
Measure* the thickness of the vertical skinfold** at a distance of 5 cm to the right or left of the navel. |
Measure* the thickness of the vertical skinfold** on the front of the leg in the middle between the knee and the groin crease. |
Measure* the thickness of the vertical skinfold** on the back of the arm in the middle between the shoulder and the elbow. |
Measure* the thickness of the vertical or horizontal skinfold** on the side of the person in the place located below the center of the armpit at the level of the xiphoid process of the sternum (the xiphoid process is located directly above the solar plexus). |
Measure* the thickness of the skinfold** on the back 2 cm below the lowest point of the shoulder blade. The direction of the fold should correspond to the imaginary line between the base of the neck and the upper edge of the iliac crest (part of the pelvic bone on the side of the person below the waist). |
Measure* the thickness of the skinfold** on the side of the person in the place located just above the iliac crest (upper generatrix of the pelvis). The direction of the fold should be parallel to the upper generatrix of the iliac crest. |
