Difference of arithmetic progression

Arithmetic progression – is a numerical sequence, each member of which is equal to the sum of the previous number and a certain fixed number. This invariant number is called the difference of the arithmetic progression. In other words, the difference (walk) of the arithmetic progression – difference between subsequent and previous members.

If the difference of the arithmetic progression is positive, then such a progression is called increasing, if the difference is negative, then there is a decreasing arithmetic progression.
