Solution of Complex Numbers

Complex numbers allow expanding the concept of a real number, forming a so-called closed algebraic field. They are usually represented as x + j y. In this formal sum, there are real numbers «x» and «y» and an imaginary unit «j», the square of which is negative and equal to «– 1».

Using complex numbers allows describing mathematical models of various applied processes in a very convenient form for performing analytical actions. They are used in a wide range of disciplines, from cartography and oscillation theory to hydrodynamics, electrical engineering, etc.
