Calculation of the well volume

With the help of the calculator, you can find out not only the volume of the well but also the cost of all the work. To do this, you will need to enter the forecasted dimensions and the calculator will automatically provide the result. Of course, calculations can be done independently using formulas, but this will require time.

Well dimensions
Depth, m.
Upper diameter, m.
Lower diameter, m.
Cost of earthworks
Digging (per 1 cubic meter)
Soil removal (per 1 cubic meter)

As is known, to calculate the volume, it is necessary to multiply the length, width, and height, respectively, the formula is used:

Volume=L*W*H

If you need to find the volume of a shape in the form of a cylinder, you will need to use the formula:

Volume=π*R²*H

For example, you need to find the volume of a well where:
Diameter – 1.5m;
Depth – 10m.
Finding the radius, for this, divide the diameter by 2, accordingly the radius will be equal to 0.75m (1,5/2).
Then using the formula, proceed to calculations:

(3,14)*0,75²*10 = (3,14)*0,5625*10 = 17,66
It follows that the volume of the well will be equal to 17.66m³.
