Values of trigonometric functions

Trigonometric functions are among the simplest. What does this concept include? All sides of a right triangle are in proportion. Thus, when considering any angle, the adjacent and opposite legs are in proportion to each other and the hypotenuse.

How to write this:
sine (sin) — ratio of the opposite leg to the hypotenuse;
cosine (cos) — ratio of the adjacent leg to the hypotenuse;
tangent (tg) — ratio of the opposite leg to the adjacent leg;
cotangent (ctg) — ratio of the adjacent leg to the opposite leg.

These are the simplest trigonometric functions. There is a strict rule: each angle has its own trigonometric functions. Knowing the angle, one can calculate the ratio of the sides. Conversely, knowing the data sin, cos, tg and ctg, one can calculate the angle. For these purposes, an online calculator is used. Alternatively, — Bradis tables are very convenient.
