Tile Quantity Calculation

When planning to tile a bathroom, it is necessary to know the amount of material needed. Knowing the quantity can avoid situations where there is simply not enough material. You can buy more with a reserve, but then you have to spend more money.

By performing the calculation on our calculator, you will get the exact amount of tiles needed, note that the calculator calculates without considering the seam thickness and whether to make a 5% reserve for trimming and breakage is up to you.

It is possible to consider as an example how to independently calculate for a bathroom. For this, the formula is used: Sobl.=(P*B)-Sdv.
Where:
obl. – area that will be covered with tiles;
In – wall height;
Sdv. – door area;
R – perimeter

It should be remembered that in the final data it is necessary to add 5-10%. These are inevitable losses that go to trimming the tiles.
