Calculation of plaster consumption
The simplest and most affordable way to level walls is plastering. But before buying building materials, you need to determine the amount required for the given area.
Calculate how much plaster you will need for a wall area of 20m2 with a layer of 12mm necessary
to multiply 3 values = Area × Layer thickness × Plaster consumption (is indicated on the package) = 20×12×0.9=216kg
The result is influenced by factors such as the type of plaster used (this is influenced by the base – concrete, brick, wood, or drywall) and the curvature of the wall (deviation vertically and horizontally, a standard panel house has a curvature of about 20-25 millimeters).
With the help of the online calculator, you can easily calculate the plaster consumption for the wall, for this you need to enter such data as:
Type of plaster or its consumption per 1 square meter at a layer thickness of 1mm;
Plastering area;
Desired layer thickness in mm.
As a result, we get the consumption in kilograms.
