Sealant Consumption

The use of sealant, glue is quite popular in construction and repair work. By using the calculator, you can find out the exact consumption of material required.
Below are online calculators for calculating the consumption of silicone, acrylic, polyurethane sealant for sealing joints on 1 meter and more.

Silicone sealant consumption
(running meters from one cartridge)

Joint width, mm
Joint depth, mm
Estimated output from cartridge (300ml)

Sealant consumption per 1 m joint

Joint width, mm
Joint depth, mm
Joint length, m

Mounting adhesive consumption
(running meters)

Hole diameter, mm
Output from cartridge (300ml)
Output from tube (115ml)

If performing independent calculations, formulas will be required:
V=L×p×h
M=V×q
The first formula finds the volume of the joint, this same volume corresponds to the volume of sealant. You need to multiply the length by the width, the height of the joint. The second formula finds the mass of the sealant, where you need to multiply the volume by the density. Density data can be seen on the packaging.
